Shepherds Friendly has partnered with healthcare provider Nuffield Health to offer a range of additional benefits to its income protection (IP) membership.
The three new health and wellbeing benefits from Nuffield are available to all income protection members as part of the friendly society’s enhanced benefits package at no extra cost to plan holders. They are:
- Virtual GP delivered by Doctor Care Anywhere which gives access to a GP 24/7, 365 days a year through a dedicated app.
- An emotional wellbeing platform which is accredited by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and designed to maintain and improve emotional wellbeing, by addressing underlying issues that can have a negative impact on mental health.
- Discounted gym membership at any of Nuffield Health’s 114 fitness and wellbeing centres across the UK.
