Aston Lark has agreed terms to acquire the clients of The Health Insurance Company. A figure has not been given for the value of the transaction.

The Bournemouth-based private medical insurance specialist, which works with individuals and small businesses, was set up by Paul Spector in 2016.

Commenting on the deal, Spector (pictured) said: “Aston Lark is the perfect partner with the ideal pedigree for our business and we are confident that this next chapter in the life of The Health Insurance Company will be an excellent opportunity for the most important people in our business – our clients.”

Peter Blanc, CEO at Aston Lark Group, added: “We’re delighted to welcome The Health Insurance Company to Aston Lark’s employee benefits family. Paul’s ethos for our customer service fits in perfectly with Aston Lark.

“We’re growing strongly in the private health insurance market and we continue to seek other like-minded private medical insurance brokers that want to join forces to be able to better service their clients going forward.”

The Health Insurance Company deal follows on from Aston Lark’s recent acquisitions of Brassington Insurance, Essex Insurance Brokers and Plester Group.
