Aviva has begun its search for a new associate medical director ahead of the impending departure of Dr Subashini M.

A spokesperson confirmed to Health & Protection that Dr Subashini M, who joined Aviva as clinical transformation lead in 2015 before being promoted to associate medical director, is leaving on 1 October.

She will be taking on the role of director of science and wellness at retailer Holland and Barrett.

Aviva has begun its search for a replacement, with medical director Dr Doug Wright covering the remit of Dr Subashini M’s role until the appointment of her successor.

Aviva added in a statement: “Dr Subashini M has been with Aviva for six years and we thank her for her contribution.

“We wish her every success in her new role and we are now searching for a successor.”
