Spectrum.Life has secured a contract to provide digital health and wellbeing support to members of health insurer Benenden Health.
It is the company’s first deal with a UK insurer.
Under the contract, Benenden Health members will now have access to Spectrum.Life’s suite of digital content, including access to the company’s digital gym and digital wellbeing series.
Spectrum.Life has also developed a bespoke digital wellbeing platform for Benenden Health which contains tailored health and wellbeing content created by clinical experts on key aspects of health, wellbeing, fitness, nutrition and mindfulness.
It means Spectrum.Life now provides mental health and wellbeing support to more than 2,000,000 users across the UK and Republic of Ireland from more than 1,250 organisations.
Commenting on the deal, Stephen Costello, CEO of Spectrum.Life, (pictured) said: “We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with Benenden Health to provide enhanced digital health and wellbeing support to over 800,000 people across the UK.
“The past two years have been challenging for people across the UK, making accessible health support more important than ever before.”
Joanne Dodd, senior product manager of Benenden Health, added: “We’re always looking for ways to increase the support we provide to our members.
“Working with Spectrum.Life we’ve been able to enhance our Benenden Health app to give immediate access to a collection of resources including videos, podcasts, classes, and articles that help our members look after their mental wellbeing, fitness, nutrition and so much more.
“The partnership with Spectrum.Life gives our members an easy way to take control of maintaining their health and wellbeing and supports Benenden Health’s purpose of improving the nation’s health.”
