Paul Winstanley has left his position as Now Health International General Manager – UK ahead of a move to a rival international private medical insurance (PMI) provider.
Winstanley told Health & Protection he had resigned from the insurer in early July.
“I have an exciting new role with a larger competitor although I currently can’t say who it is. I will be joining them early in October,” he said.
Winstanley spent just over a year at Now Health International having joined as general manger – UK in June 2021.
He has almost 15 years’ experience in the IPMI industry including three years at Generali as global head of business development – global health.
Prior to that he was global head of corporate at Bupa Global for six years.
Before entering the IPMI sector Winstanley had senior roles with Santander and Royal Bank of Scotland in the UK.
Confirming the move on LinkedIn, Winstanley thanked his colleagues at Now Health International, particularly his “fantastic” UK team, noting it was “my privilege to lead you and a joy to work with you”.
Now Health International did not want to comment on Winstanley’s departure or the recruitment of his successor.
