Royal London has joined CIExpert’s digital dashboard Insight Zone.
The insurer’s range of personal and business menu plans, including the whole of life plan and diabetes life cover, will be available in the zone together with an extended added value services area and a new trusts section.
The Insight Zone is being developed to complement CIExpert’s critical illness comparison service.
It includes a range of information and interactive tools, provides advisers access to key information on all aspects of critical illness and life propositions to streamline their protection sales and research processes and support them in carrying out Consumer Duty requirements.
Details such as condition coverage, payment levels, claims data, product flexibility and guaranteed insurability options along with added value services are available.
Jennifer Gilchrist, protection specialist at Royal London, (pictured), said: “It’s great to be launching our propositions on CI Expert’s Insight Zone where advisers will have the ability to tap into the value of Royal London’s protection propositions.
“With the new Consumer Duty coming down the tracks, providers need to tailor their proposition communications and technical information to help advisers meet the new regulatory requirements.”
Paul Roberts, proposition and distribution director at CIExpert, added: “We’re absolutely delighted that Royal London has joined our Insight Zone. For each insurer we pull out the key policy highlights so that advisers can easily home in on aspects key to a particular client.
“It also provides access to the insurers’ own sales support tools within the same single protection hub providing all the key information in a single central resource.”
Emma Thomson, head of protection and GI propositions at Sesame Bankhall Group, noted that the depth and breadth of information that advisers need to take into account when assessing protection policies can be daunting and time consuming.
“With the introduction of Consumer Duty, it is important that advisers feel informed and confident in assessing the best customer outcomes for their clients,” she added.
