Guardian has launched on UnderwriteMe’s protection platform sourcing system.
The platform allows advisers to compare fully underwritten buy-now quotes on multiple products from a range of providers.
Guardian said the partnership would further its distribution reach by providing access to advice firms using the platform as their main protection quote and apply portal.
UnderwriteMe currently serves 762 advice firms and more than 4,350 individual advisers and to date over 1 million cases have been submitted using it.
Hilary Banks, sales director at Guardian, said the insurer was very happy to bring its products to advisers using UnderwriteMe.
“We’ve seen the platform’s usage grow quickly and it is now a preferred option for many advice firms wanting to set client expectations up-front, cut processing times and provide a fully online experience,” she said.
She added the partnership opens up a significant strategic opportunity for the insurer and gives more customers access to its products.
