Simplyhealth has appointed Claudia Nicholls as chief customer officer.

Nicholls (pictured) will join Simplyhealth on 28 November and report to CEO, professor Sneh Khemka.

In this newly created role, Nicholls will be responsible for all sales and service teams and identifying ways to grow Simplyhealth’s core business of cash plans and dental plans.

Group sales director Jenni Wilson and director of customer service Dan Eddie and their respective teams will report to Nicholls.

Having started her career at Procter & Gamble, Nicholls has also held senior commercial leadership roles at the consumer association Which? and price comparison website Moneysupermarket Group. She joins Simplyhealth from money management and budgeting app Snoop where she was chief revenue officer.

Professor Sneh Khemka, CEO of Simplyhealth, said: “We strive to make healthcare accessible to all. Key to our success will be truly putting our customers at the heart of our business, understanding their needs, and building products and services to meet these.

“With her extensive experience gained in leading customer centric organisations, Claudia is a perfect fit for Simplyhealth’s ambitions.”

Nicholls added her priorities will be to work with Khemka and the team to realise the company’s potential and drive business performance to deliver the best possible outcomes for customers and partners.
