Bupa has launched a module on women’s health, as part of the Bupa Academy for Workplace Health and Wellbeing.
In the past, less focus has been given to women’s health issues in the workplace which has led to poorer health outcomes and a lack of progress for women in business and leadership.
In a government consultation earlier this year, 25% of women said health affected their opportunities for promotion and 22% said health issues meant they stopped work earlier than they had planned.
With women accounting for 49% of the workforce, its essential organisations recognise the challenges of women’s health inequality and understand the vital role they can play in helping to not only close the gap but disperse damaging taboos and stigmas that often prevent women from seeking help.
During the 90-minute live session a Bupa clinician shares insights, clinical expertise, and actionable plans on how organisations can provide better support for women’s health in the workplace and create a more inclusive and supportive environment that looks after everyone’s needs – at every stage of their career.
To book a session, please speak to your account manager or email the academy mailbox: thebupaacademy@bupa.com.
