Allianz Partners UK and Ireland has appointed Marcus Latchford as chief sales and distribution officer.
Latchford joins from RAC, where he spent four years as the director of its insurance business.
He spent the first seven years of his career at Endsleigh Insurance, before joining Zurich Insurance to become head of propositions for the UK general insurance business.
He will lead the sales and distribution teams at Allianz Partners and report to Tim Tozer, CEO of UK and Ireland.
He succeeds Lee Taylor who is now the CEO of Benelux and the Nordics.
Latchford (pictured) said he was very excited to join Allianz Partners. “I look forward to working with the team to help Allianz Partners achieve its potential in the UK and Ireland,” he added.
