Join our first Workplace Health Insights event of the year, Tackling the disability employment gap on Wednesday 8 February at 11:00.

In the UK one in five working-age adults are disabled and despite increased awareness to make workplaces more inclusive, disabled people are twice as likely to be unemployed.

As more people report a long-term health condition or disability, the gap between workplace equality for disabled people and non-disabled people must be addressed.

Organisations who act to support disability inclusion will benefit from new perspectives, talents and skills while boosting productivity and benefitting the bottom line.

On the day we’ll be inviting a panel of experts to join the conversation including Dr Naveen Puri, Associate Clinical Director at Bupa, and Mark Hodgkinson, chief executive at Scope the disability equality charity.

We’ll discuss the role inclusive workplace wellbeing can play to tackle the disability employment gap and the tangible actions employers can take to champion disability.
