Rapid Quote has added National Friendly’s My PMI offering to its portal.

The product offers four different levels of cover which are structured to help meet more clients’ budgets – from out-patient or in-patient only, to both combined, plus cancer diagnostics and treatment.

It is available to anyone from age 18-85, including family cover, multi-person discounts and postcode ratings to help ensure fairness of premium costing, the insurer said.

Oliver Jones, sales and distribution director at National Friendly said: “We’re really excited to introduce My PMI via Rapid Quote. Advisers told us that they wanted to be able to offer their clients this kind of flexibility. We listened and we delivered.

“Our healthcare proposition has been available on the Rapid Quote Portal for some time now and we’ve seen excellent results with broker engagement.”

Steve Warden, director of Rapid Quote, added: “At a time which brings more of a need for private medical insurance than ever and despite a large percentage increase in sales across the market, many brokers have reported that the cost of living crisis has impacted a section of the general public’s ability to take out medical insurance.

“We commend National Friendly’s approach to providing access to a policy that’s affordable to more people during these times.”
