Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) has organised its first periodic health check for delivery riders as part of its Riders’ Corner initiative.

The community focused initiative, announced last autumn, provides a custom air-conditioned space for riders to rest, get access to drinking water, and charge their phones while waiting for orders.

DHCC revealed 50 delivery riders were welcomed to the new space and given health check-ups.

The initiative has been launched in partnership with Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC Dubai), Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai and Al Manara Pharmacy.

The healthcare providers will provide periodic health check-ups, ophthalmology screenings and vitamin supplements as part of the initiative.
