Cost-effective wellbeing solutions for the whole of the workforce are the most important top benefits for UK employers, according to Willis Towers Watson’s 2023 Benefits Trends survey.

The WTW report which surveyed 339 UK organisations across a broad range of industries about their benefit strategies. When asked to identify the top three most important benefits strategy issues, more than half (56%) of UK employers claimed that they aimed to meet the needs of their entire workforce.

But the report found also found wellbeing (49%) and plan cost (47%) ranked highly among the top priorities for organisations polled.

The increasing demand for whole of workforce solutions is a trend Paul Bridges, principal health and wellbeing consultant at Towergate Health & Protection, spoke to Health & Protection about back in February.
