Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has appointed Gaby Joyner as head of Great Britain following the retirement of John Ball last month.
Joyner (pictured), who has been with the company for 23 years, will continue in her current role of head of WTW’s employee experience business for Europe, while taking on additional responsibilities as head of Great Britain.
In her new role, she will represent WTW externally at a corporate level in addition to supporting GB business leaders and colleagues in the growth and retention of key clients and prospects.
Anne Pullum, head of Europe for WTW, said: “I am thrilled that Gaby will be taking on the Great Britain leadership role, while continuing in her existing remit in the employee experience business.
“Gaby’s expertise in helping companies to enhance their own employee experience and engagement makes her ideally suited to lead one of our largest and most important geographic markets.
“As a geography leader, Gaby will be able to help drive growth across WTW’s businesses, as well as continuing to deliver on the implementation of WTW’s inclusion and diversity strategy, championing an inclusive working environment where everyone is heard and respected.”
Joyner added: “This is a very exciting opportunity to combine my experience as a business leader at WTW with the chance to lead a geography, so I am delighted to have been appointed in the role.
“I am a passionate believer in creating smart connections between our businesses that will provide interesting and career enhancing opportunities for colleagues and, ultimately, drive growth through innovation and collaboration.”
