YuLife has the launched Yuniversity, a series of in-app continuing professional development (CPD) courses for brokers.

The courses, which have been awarded CPD accreditation by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), aim to enable broker partners to continue their professional insurance development using YuLife’s gamified approach.

Through its ‘Yuniversity’ within the app, YuLife is aiming to use gamification and behavioural science to support professional development through achievable goals and rewards. It offers a range of modules covering group protection products and advisory skills.

Course features include podcast format content, in-app quiz assessments and downloadable certificates for record keeping and evidence of CPD for regulatory purposes.

Available to all YuLife broker partners, courses vary in length and are divided into half-hour modules which are broken up into chapters delivered in a podcast style, featuring animated visual elements to support different learning methods.

Sammy Rubin, CEO and founder of YuLife, said: “At YuLife we aim to continuously innovate and expand our offerings to meet the needs of the entire insurance ecosystem, and the Yuniversity is our latest thoughtfully-designed programme to engage with our broker partners and support their ongoing learning.

“These CPD courses allow learning to become a conscious and proactive opportunity for advisers looking to operate confidently within the industry, backed by the knowledge they have been accredited by the CII for the quality of their content.

“We look forward to expanding the Yuniversity’s scope for additional use cases in the future to further support YuLife members’ professional development.”
