Bupa UK Insurance has launched a resource hub hosting a range of digital materials and toolkits to support independent financial advisers (IFAs).
The Consumer Adviser Support Hub is available for free online and supports IFAs searching for the latest market trends and information on consumer health insurance.
It includes:
- Intermediary guides to health insurance covering everything from benefits and claiming, to underwriting and costs
- Marketing materials and templates to support intermediaries’ client engagement
- Customer brochures on the benefits of Bupa cover which can be personalised for each intermediary.
Richard Glassborow, consumer director for Bupa UK Insurance, said: “We’ve listened to feedback from IFAs and we know there’s high demand for these types of resources to confidently support them when discussing health insurance with clients.”
“Health insurance is increasingly valued by individuals and families seeking reassurance that they’ll have access to fast diagnosis and treatment should they need it. Our new hub provides IFAs with all the information needed to help their clients make informed decisions about their policy and how to maximise its benefits.”
Paul Mills, director, 4C Platform added: “Over the past 12 months we’ve seen a sharp increase in advisers looking to improve their understanding of health insurance products and services.
“While previously many advisers were shying away from PMI and losing business to specialist intermediaries, growing demand means there’s a real opportunity to diversify and support more clients if you have access to trusted knowledge like on Bupa’s hub.
“From working with hundreds of new advisers to the market in recent years, we’ve found that those who seek out and educate themselves on the products are the ones who write the most business.”
