Dai-ichi Life and YuLife have begun a pilot implementation of the YuLife wellbeing model in Japan.
The model offers a variety of health and wellness services including the YuLife app and online hub.
The pilot will see Dai-ichi Life provide test users with the YuLife app, which equips employees with an engagement programme that incentivises wellbeing initiatives and rewards healthy living.
The YuLife product suite is based on gamification and behavioural sciences and offers strategic insights to monitor employee wellbeing.
This is the first joint project with YuLife since Dai-ichi Life invested in the company in July last year.
The pilot is available to Dai-ichi employees and a number of external SMEs who agreed to join the pilot.
Internal and external test users will use the YuLife app and service, which has been introduced to companies across the world, including the UK and the US.
