Unum UK has appointed former Allianz UK CEO Jon Dye as an independent non-executive director.
Dye (pictured) joined Hiscox UK in September 2022 as CEO and has previously held a number of senior roles in the industry — before Hiscox UK, he most recently held the position of CEO at Allianz UK for eight years. His tenure included the acquisitions of the general insurance businesses of LV= and Legal & General.
He has extensive board and board sub-committee experience as an executive, including as chairman of the Association of British Insurers (ABI).
