Further Group has joined the Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII) as a corporate member.

A global provider of turnkey serious illness solutions for the insurance industry, Further Group connects patients to advances in the treatment of serious medical conditions through insurance and service solutions that remove financial and geographical barriers to equitable access.

Established in 2012, it operates in more than 30 countries, collaborating with more than 300 insurers and corporations, and serving over three million members.

Russell Young, UK sales and account management director at Further Group, said: “We are very pleased to join AMII and are enthusiastic about the networking and collaboration opportunities it will provide.

“Our expertise in the serious illness space and our innovation in precision medicine, together with the work we do to improve access to the best care in the world, brings a unique perspective to the table.

“I look forward to the possibilities that lie ahead as we continue to expand our presence in the UK.”

David Middleton, executive chairman at AMII, added: “We are thrilled to have Further Group join our AMII community as they bring a wealth of expertise and innovation.

“We believe that their contributions will greatly benefit our members and the health, protection, and wellness industry.

“As they continue to establish their presence in the UK, we are enthusiastic about the prospects of improving access for patients to advanced and innovative treatments for serious medical conditions.”
