Private hospital The London Clinic has opened a rapid diagnostics centre in the London medical district of Harley Street.
The centre will focus on urology, gynaecology, breast and dermatology as well as supporting early diagnosis – particularly in cancer.
The London Clinic promised there will be no long wait lists at the centre, and patients can book in for the centre and be seen within 24 and 48 hours.
Testing and scans will be conducted on-site at The London Clinic, with results provided within 72 hours of testing, depending on the specialty and range of tests, the clinic said.
The centre is located at 142-146 Harley Street – once home to King George VI’s speech therapist Lionel Logue whose treatment of the late monarch featured in the film The King’s Speech – across from The London Clinic’s main hospital.
Key speciality areas in the centre include urology, including prostate, bladder, testicular and renal; gynaecology and breast and dermatology.

The official opening for the centre will be held in March.
