Premier Choice Group is retiring the Advo Group name following the full integration of the company.
The move follows Premier Choice’s July acquisition of employee benefits intermediary, Advo Group.
The deal did not include HR and payroll division Advo One, which remains within the Advo Holdings Ltd businesses.
At the time, Premier Choice said Advo would remain as Advo Group Ltd and would trade as such.
But yesterday Health & Protection reported that Advo staff had taken on Premier Choice roles as the acquisition went into full effect, with a number of staff members announcing their new roles on LinkedIn.
Speaking to Health & Protection this morning, Premier Choice managing director, Darren Perkins (pictured), confirmed Advo group staff had completed TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) transfers over to Premier Choice.
“We took all 23 employees that came over from Advo Group,” Perkin said.
“They have retained their jobs. No-one has left.”
But Perkins added that the Advo name has now gone.
“All acquisitions will always be Premier Choice when we acquire them,” he added.
“So we’re one business effectively. It’s the same agency and the same processes and everything else.”
