Axa Health head of corporate sales Tim Bliss has left the insurer after 10 years.

The insurer confirmed Bliss had left to pursue new challenges in the health market while Bliss told Health & Protection he was in discussions about his next position.

Overall responsibility for the management of corporate intermediaries will remain with Rob Smith, large corporate intermediary leader, who will now report to Paul Moulton, corporate and SME distribution director, Axa Health added.

Bliss has been head of corporate sales for the last four-and-a-half years where he had responsibility for new business and intermediary relationships for large corporate.

Bliss began his time at the insurer as head of sales and marketing for health and wellbeing in May 2014.

He spent six years in the role before moving to head of corporate sales.

Bliss told Health & Protection that he was in discussions about his next position but was also enjoying some down time.

Commenting on his departure on LinkedIn, Bliss added that during his time at the insurer he was often asked what differentiates the business.

“Like anyone in sales we had a great list but the people was always my go to number one,” he said.

“To all my colleagues thank you and it has been an absolute pleasure. My thanks to all our key partners too who have supported and helped me and the team along the way.

“A new chapter opens but thanks to everyone I have worked with at Axa Health,” he added.

Axa Health confirmed Bliss had recently left after more than 10 years with the business, “to pursue new challenges in the health market”.

“During his time at Axa Health he was a key member of the team that developed the broader health and wellbeing propositions across both direct and intermediary distribution channels,” the insurer told Health & Protection.

“We thank Tim for his dedication and commitment during his decade with the business and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
