Reassured director of corporate strategy Phil Jeynes is leaving the business at the end of the year.
After more than five years at the broker firm including as a member of the executive committee he will depart to pursue other interests.
Jeynes was non-commital on his career change, but told Health & Protection: “Following my health problems earlier in the year, I’m back to full health and looking forward to 2025.”
In March Jeynes returned to work just two weeks after a successful operation for colon cancer.
A month later he spoke about his experience at Health & Protection’s inaugural Protection Forum detailing how added services and the claims process had been valuable to him and urging insurers to communicate more with customers.
Last month, during Movember Jeynes spoke to Health & Protection about how his biggest mental challenge since his colon cancer diagnosis was managing the emotions of loved ones.
Jeynes started at Reassured in September 2019. Prior to that was head of sales and marketing at UnderwriteMe, from 2015 to 2019. During his career in insurance he also worked at Vitality Life, Direct Life and Pension Services.
Mark Townsend, CEO, said: “Phil has been a huge part of Reassured’s success over the last half decade, leading the strategy which has seen us add an advised capability, strengthen panel relationships and establishing successful partnerships with major brands such as Go.Compare and Confused.com.
“We wish Phil every success in his future career.”
In the announcement Jeynes added: “I am extremely grateful to the whole team at Reassured for their support, enthusiasm and camaraderie over the last five years.
“I have learned an enormous amount and enjoyed delivering many key strategic aims for the business. I hope and believe, under Mark’s leadership, Reassured will continue to go from strength to strength.”
