The OneFamily Group has appointed Claire Anam as senior business development manager for its life insurance brand, Beagle Street.
Working within distribution director Holly Ewing’s team, Anam will report directly to Adam Cubitt, whose appointment as head of distribution was announced last month.
Anam’s remit will be to grow Beagle Street’s visibility within the intermediary space.
A qualified financial adviser, she has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, having started her career in banking with HSBC.
She went on to work as a business protection consultant at Pangea Life, specialising in business and personal protection for company directors.
Most recently, she worked as a national account manager at AIG Life, where she looked after strategic accounts and large firms within the intermediary space.
Anam said: “I’m excited to be joining the group and look forward to being part of this journey as we prepare to launch Beagle Street into the intermediary market.
“My experience has helped me build significant relationships within the industry, which I am keen to grow further in this new role.”
Ewing said she was looking forward to working with Anam: “I’m very pleased to welcome Claire to the team, as she already has very strong relationships and experience within the intermediary market which will be vital to the team as we expand our protection business.”
