MetLife and Sprout.ai will be expanding their work to speed-up claims automation beyond Latin America to other global markets including the US and Asian territories.
The insurer said the move was part of its efforts to modernise global claims operations, with additional further rollouts expected across US, Asia and LATAM regions.
Sprout.ai said: “The current partnership has helped to drive improvements in claims turnaround times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction across millions of claims in Latin America and is now scaling to support MetLife’s broader global modernisation efforts.”
It added that by combining AI capabilities with human expertise the technology served as a complement to human judgment, empathy and experience in every claims decision.
Roi Amir, CEO of Sprout.ai, said the partnership showed how AI can deliver meaningful change in insurance.
