Bupa Global has promoted Zak Ali to the role of head of SME and consumer sales in the United Arab Emirates.

His previous position was head of consumer sales in the UAE, which he held from 2021 to 2025.

Prior to Bupa Ali was at Lifecare International as commercial sales team manager, consumer and SME in the UAE from 2020 to 2021.

Before that he worked at Beehive in the UAE as an SME investment consultant for a year in 2019. And before that he worked as a senior account manager at Morgan Price International Healthcare, also in the UAE, as an SME and corporate senior account manager from 2017 to 2019.

He previously worked at Bupa in the UK for more than 10 years from 2006 to 2017, working in several areas including sales quality and transformation.

Ali said: “I’m pleased to share that I have been promoted to head of sales – SME and consumer.

“In addition to continuing the work in the high-growth B2C segment, I will now also be leading the sustainable growth of our B2B segment.

“This new chapter presents an exciting opportunity to build on our momentum and drive further success across both areas.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the continued support from my teams, colleagues, mentors, and partners.”
