Dr Pallavi Bradshaw is leaving Axa Health to return to the Medical Protection Society as its medical director.
Dr Bradshaw (pictured) joined Axa Health as deputy chief medical officer in September 2021 ahead of promotion to medical director for governance, performance and risk within the provider’s commercial division in September this year.
She joined Axa Health from the Medical Protection Society where she was Asia team leader and held a number of roles including senior medicolegal adviser, communication and policy lead for corporate and public affairs and global medicolegal lead for business development and engagement.
Dr Bradshaw will start her new role at the society in early 2026.
Axa Health told Health & Protection it was starting the search for Dr Bradshaw’s successor.

MPS is a medical defence organisation which protects and supports the professional interests of more than 300,000 healthcare professionals. It also provides corporate healthcare providers with professional protection, risk prevention, and medical malpractice insurance through MPS Partnerships.
Dr Bradshaw’s appointment follows the promotion of former medical director Dr Rob Hendry to chief member officer.
The medical director role at MPS leads engagement with healthcare leaders and champions the interests of healthcare professionals and organisations across the globe.
