Best Insurance is offering discounted accident, unemployment and sickness insurance to members of the armed service veterans’ platform, WeServed.

Accident and unemployment and sickness insurance feature alongside pet, gadget and home contents insurance that will be delivered through the insurer’s Excitare.ai platform.

The products are offered on a standalone or combined basis, so accident insurance, sickness insurance and unemployment insurance can be combined into ASU.

Kesh Thukaram, co-founder of Best Insurance, said: “People who have served in the armed forces can sometimes have specific and unique requirements that are not catered for by the standard policies available in the market.

“Best Insurance aims to bridge this gap by partnering with WeServed to ensure that men and women who have served the country have access to comprehensive cover offering competitive and bespoke pricing that caters to their lifestyle when they retire from the armed forces and join civilian life.”

Hugh Andree, CEO of WeServed, said the organisation was delighted to be forming the partnership.
