Paul Baker is to succeed Matt Lynn as chief financial officer at Nuffield Health.
Lynn joined Nuffield Health in 2022 and will be leaving to take up a new position, but will remain until the end of the year for handover and transition.
Baker (pictured) brings more than 25 years of financial leadership experience across international consumer, logistics and service sectors.
Most recently he was CFO at Smiths News, where he led improvements in operational performance, reduced borrowings, and played a key role in transforming the business, the firm said.
Prior to this he held senior finance roles at Compass Group, Iglo Group/Birds Eye and Cadbury Schweppes.
Alex Perry, chief executive officer of Nuffield Health, said: “Matt has made an outstanding contribution to Nuffield Health over the past three years. His leadership has helped us build a stronger, more resilient organisation, and I want to thank him for the professionalism, expertise and commitment he’s brought to the organisation every day.
“I’m delighted to welcome Paul Baker to Nuffield Health. His breadth of experience and capabilities will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our financial performance, allowing us to reinvest in our services and deliver even more social impact in the future.”
