Cignpost Group has appointed Dr Anushka Patchava as chief clinical and innovation officer.

Dr Patchava (pictured) joins the firm’s senior leadership team and operational board to oversee clinical strategy and to support product development.

She is a former deputy chief medical officer (CMO) at Vitality and previously held senior roles at Aetna International.

Dr Patchava has also worked long-term with the World Economic Forum and United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and held a visiting faculty position at Harvard Business School.

She will be charged with scaling the company’s diagnostic insurance solution and digital health platform.

Steve Whatley, CEO of Cignpost Group said: “We are delighted to welcome Anushka to the team.

“She brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of healthcare, insurance and technology.

“We have a mission to ensure our customers receive fast access to health tests and checks and scans within days or a referral. Anushka reinforces our delivery capability to fast track our goal to reduce waiting times and improve Britain’s health.”
