Medichecks has acquired My Menopause Centre for an undisclosed sum.
The specialist menopause health platform and clinic was co-founded in 2021 by Helen Normoyle and Dr Clare Spencer.
As part of the acquisition, My Menopause Centre’s leadership will transition over to Medichecks’ executive team.
This latest acquisition builds on Medichecks’ earlier acquisition of testosterone replacement specialist Leger Clinic a year ago.
The firm said the acquisition would further enhance its ability to deliver integrated testing, diagnosis and ongoing clinical support at scale.
Earlier this week, Health Shield Wellbeing agreed a partnership with My Menopause Centre which has meant its Health Check customers can now access enhanced menopause support.
Helen Marsden, co-founder of Medichecks, said: “At Medichecks, our mission is to make healthcare more accessible, evidence-based and patient-centred. Helen and Clare have built an outstanding, clinically credible platform that is transforming menopause care for women across the UK.
“Medichecks now owns two CQC Outstanding-rated clinics – the only clinics in their respective sectors to achieve this rating – and we are deeply committed to delivering safe, compassionate and patient-centric care.
“We’re proud to continue the founders’ legacy while supporting the next stage of growth, ensuring more women can access high-quality menopause care when they need it most.”
Helen Normoyle, co-founder and CEO of My Menopause Centre, added: “We set out to build something resilient, clinically credible and scalable, not just fast.
“Our mission has always been to make menopause care compassionate, accessible and grounded in evidence. Medichecks shares that vision. Their digital platform, commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centred care make them the ideal partner to take My Menopause Centre into its next chapter.
“This milestone reflects not only a strong product, but a remarkable team and community. I’m deeply proud of what we’ve built and excited to see My Menopause Centre grow further under Medichecks’ leadership.”
Dr Clare Spencer, co-founder and clinical director of My Menopause Centre, added: “We are confident that, as part of theMedichecks group, we will continue to provide caring clinical excellence to support women through their menopause transition in the way we have striven to over the last four years.
“Their platform will enable the clinic to scale further and reach many more women during what can be a challenging time of life. I’m excited to see what comes next.”
