Bluecrest Wellness members who receive abnormal results from cancer screening tests will receive specialist clinical support from Perci Health.

The service is designed to help customers better understand their results, navigate next steps, and access appropriate clinical guidance at a critical point in their care journey.

Through the service, Bluecrest customers who receive an amber or red result from cancer screening tests will have access to Perci Health’s cancer nurse specialists.

Delivered virtually, the service provides structured, personalised guidance and reassurance.

Bluecrest customers will receive regular follow-up communications from Perci Health throughout their support period to track outcomes, including further investigations, all-clear results, or diagnosis.

Where investigations confirm that no cancer is present, individuals will be discharged following completion of their support pathway.

Where a cancer diagnosis is confirmed, they will be directed into the appropriate clinical care pathways for ongoing support via their NHS or treating healthcare team.

Bluecrest said the agreement should strengthen its screening proposition by integrating expert-led clinical support alongside its services, enhancing customer experience.

The partnership will also generate valuable insights into screening pathways and outcomes, supporting continuous improvement across screening services more broadly, it added.

Dominique Kent, CEO of Bluecrest Wellness, (pictured) said: “Screening is an important first step, but it’s what happens next that really makes a difference for people.

“This is important when they receive an abnormal result following their health assessment. Having clear, timely support helps individuals better understand what it means and to feel more confident about the next steps they need to take.

“By working with Perci Health, we’re able to build on our existing service by offering additional clinical guidance where it’s needed. This helps to create a more joined-up experience for our customers at a time they most need it.”

Kelly McCabe, CEO and co-founder of Perci Health, added: “Screening is only effective if people know what to do next. Too often, individuals are left in limbo after an abnormal result, unsure how serious it is or how quickly they need to act.

“This partnership ensures that people have access to specialist clinical guidance at a moment that can feel highly stressful and uncertain, helping to provide reassurance, clarity, and practical next steps when individuals are trying to make sense of an abnormal result – so they are not left navigating that experience alone.”
