Omni Protect, Fintel’s whole of market protection club, has appointed Dave Butler (pictured) to the newly created role of head of protection development.
Butler (pictured) joins from Legal & General where he was most recently market development manager for the last two and a half years.
His remit is to grow and evolve Omni Protect’s proposition, making it easier and more compelling for advisers to write protection business, while strengthening relationships with providers and working to improve client outcomes.
He brings more than 25 years’ experience in the protection sector and has previously held senior roles in business development and proposition design at AIG Life, Vitality and Zurich.
Emma Vaughan, managing director of Omni Protect, said: “I’ve long admired Dave’s strong track record of delivering practical, insight-led solutions for advisers and their clients.
