Week three on The Apprentice saw a virtual Lord Sugar set the teams the challenge of developing a virtual escape room concept and playable demo and pitching their creations to investors.
After two successive wins for the women’s team, the gender divide was removed this week leaving protection adviser Raj Chohan on Team Nexus who took on Team Supreame (no, that’s really the spelling they chose).
Chohan found herself in the branding team who went with a simple logo and in the end it was simplicity that won the day – even if team mate Noor Bouziane thought the end concept was boring.
While Team Nexus’s avatar based on self-confessed “dashing and attractive” Tre Lowe went down well with investors, Team Supreame did not fare as well.
Their project lead Dr Asif Munaf’s refusal to just go with the investor’s perception that their demo featuring dancing bears was surreal put paid to their chances.
It proved a costly mistake as although Munaf brought Onyeka Nweze, Amina Khan and Sam Saadet back with him to the boardroom, Lord Sugar still sent him packing.
