Radiant Financial Group, a new consolidator of IFA firms chaired by former Skandia CEO Peter Mann, has appointed Alan Hopley as head of financial planning & analysis – adding to the recent appointments of James Cumming, Robert Taylor and Helen Taylor to its senior management team.
Radiant has been established with the intention of growing both organically and through the acquisition of IFA businesses, building a fully integrated advisory group. Radiant says the appointments prepare the business for the execution of its growth strategy.
Radiant was set up last year and reportedly had £800m assets under management in Q4 of 2020. It is backed by private equity group Apiary Capital.
Hopley joins Radiant as head of FP&A from the same role at Addison Lee Group, where he developed and supported the business through its sale process and subsequent bank led takeover in March 2020. Prior to this he has held senior roles as The Regard Group, Complete Cover Group and Bupa.
James Cumming is Radiant’s new CFO. He was most recently CFO at Complete Cover Group, where he led the financial team for over six years.
Robert Taylor joined as the group’s head of compliance. He was formerly at TCC Group, the compliance consultancy.
Helen Taylor, the group’s new HR manager, was previously HR business partner at Chapman Freeborn Airchartering.
Radiant CEO Simon Cogman-Hellier says: “We are delighted to have welcomed James, Robert, Helen and Alan to Radiant as part of the highly experienced central team we are constructing to support future growth. Each of them has considerable expertise in their respective fields, strong skills and a clear drive to succeed. Importantly, I know they share my vision of creating a fully integrated financial advice group based on a shared culture and a high quality, holistic service offering. We are confident they will all bring great value as we scale.”
