With more than 14 years in the insurance industry, Ladkani has been at Chedid for two years as head of international networks.

He is also an adviser to shareholders at Al Afaq Insurance Brokers in Qatar, a role he has had for more than four years.

And Ladkani is also general manager of Chedid and Associates Qatar LLC, a role he has held for seven years.

In a post on LinkedIn Chedid said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Alaa Ladkani, the head of our international networks division, has joined the board of WING – Worldwide Insurance Network Group.

“A longstanding WING member, Alaa will now play a key role in growing the network’s global footprint and community.
