Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad has appointed Charles Ong Eng Chow as chief executive officer (CEO) effective from 1 April, 2022.
He succeeds Joseph Gross, who will takes the role of head of global executive strategy and development at Allianz SE on the same date.
Ong Eng Chow (pictured), who has been with Allianz for almost a quarter of century, joined Allianz Life in 1999 as financial controller and was promoted to chief financial officer (CFO) for the life entity in 2003.
In 2008, he became CFO of Allianz Malaysia Berhad to oversee the financial management of the Allianz Malaysia Group.
