April International has partnered with Indonesian insurtech broker Lifepal to broaden the distribution of its international private medical insurance (IPMI) solutions in Indonesia.
Under the partnership, Lifepal will be responsible for the distribution of April’s IPMI products.
The plans operate on a community-rated basis, which ensure that any claims made throughout the year will not result in a targeted increase to an individual client’s premium upon renewal.
Clients can choose from two areas of coverage options with international solutions: the ASEAN region (excluding Singapore) or worldwide (excluding the USA).
Plans include provisions for emergency evacuation and repatriation and coverage for serious conditions such as cancer and heart disease.
“We believe this collaboration will significantly enhance the health insurance options available to residents of Indonesia, providing them with new solutions to meet their unique needs,” April said.
