US health insurance solutions provider ArmadaCare has appointed Mike Ross (pictured) as chief revenue officer (CRO).
Ross, who was most recently head of carrier relations at Health IQ, will be responsible for driving business development and sustained, profitable growth for ArmadaCare by overseeing sales, partner development, lead generation and account management.
He has previous held various executive positions, including partner and consumer business leader in the health and benefits division at Mercer, and senior vice president of individual private medical and business development as well as chief marketing officer at Cigna International.
ArmadaCare revealed it created the CRO position to support future growth activities, including launching more than a dozen health benefits products aimed at complementing primary plans in the employer market, expanding beyond its initial footprint of executive medical reimbursement.
Ed Walker, CEO of ArmadaCare, said: “Mike is an accomplished leader with experience driving sales and moving organizations forward.
“I’m confident that with Mike joining our executive team, we’ll be well poised to take ArmadaCare to new heights, while keeping our commitment to providing world-class service to our members, clients and partners.”
