Chartered insurance broker Aston Lark has acquired Essex Insurance Brokers (EIB).
It is the second purchase completed in the last week for the Goldman Sachs-owned business after it acquired commercial and personal insurance broker Plester Group on 4 August.
Hornchurch-based EIB serves personal and business clients nationwide, with a particular specialism in the film and visual arts insurance sector. Aston Lark already operates a performance film and media brand.
Essex Insurance Brokers director Neil Harle said: “For many years we have competed with Aston Lark’s performance film and media brand for film insurance business. Now we join forces, which is good news for us and even better news for our clients.”

Commenting on this latest acquisition, Aston Lark Group CEO Peter Blanc said he was delighted the firm was joining.
