Aviva has appointed Charlotte Nixon as head of strategic accounts for its individual protection business.
Nixon (pictured) will join in January from Quilter Financial Planning where she is proposition and distribution director, mortgage network.
She will report into Aviva protection portfolio distribution director Daren Boys.
Boys said Nixon’s appointment would bring her first-hand experience from across both distributor and insurer perspectives to the fore.
“She is already well connected across the individual protection industry and has upstream mortgage market insights from her time on the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries board, so she will be an asset to our business working alongside the biggest distributors across the UK market,” he added.
Nixon said: “I look forward to leading the strategic account management team as they further develop and enhance their already market-leading adviser proposition and support.”
