Aviva has appointed Martin Strobel as non executive director.
Strobel also becomes a member of the insurer’s nomination and governance committee.
He was most recently senior independent director of RSA Insurance and has held a number of senior roles during his career including group CEO of Baloise Holdings, operating partner of Advent International and with strategic consultancy BCG.
He is the current vice chair and lead independent director of Partners Group Holding and deputy chair of MSG Life.
