Aviva has extended its Group Protection Online (AGPOL1) platform to all scheme sizes.

Previously tailored for SME clients of 3 to 250 lives, AGPOL now offers new features that aim to enable advisers to manage existing group protection policies more efficiently, regardless of scheme size, the insurer said.

The changes, effective immediately, include:

  • Scheme history reports for any client size: advisers can now generate reports including policy overviews, six years of claims and premium history, and current medical underwriting details. However, this excludes flex schemes.
  • Unified policy management: view all client policies in one place, identify those due for renewal or rate review, and start these processes online.
  • Member data handling: upload and amend member data to support policy renewals.

Jason Ellis, group risk distribution director at Aviva, (pictured) said: “We’re excited to bring these enhancements to AGPOL, making it easier for advisers to manage policies and serve clients of all sizes.

“By removing barriers like the minimum premium and expanding digital capabilities, we’re helping advisers work more efficiently and grow their business with confidence.”
