Axa Global Healthcare has appointed Rob Kurau as chief risk officer, subject to regulatory approval.
He also takes the role of chief risk officer at Axa Life and Health Reinsurance Solutions.
Kurau (pictured) has held roles across international corporate and retail financial services, international payment infrastructures, as well as various healthcare providers.
These roles include director of enterprise risk management at Yorkshire Building Society, head of group risk oversight for operations at Nationwide Building Society and operational risk manager for global banking and markets in Europe at NatWest.
With more than 20 years of experience in risk management, he has successfully developed and implemented robust frameworks globally across transformation programmes.
