Axa Health is offering personalised, fertility, early parenthood and menopause support through its large corporate schemes from today.
The insurer is will be utilising Peppy’s digital health app.
Corporate customers choosing to offer the service will be able to support their employees with access to consultations with expert practitioners to manage and, where possible, prevent symptoms.
Employees will also be able to message experts as well as access information, resources and events relevant to them.
Through the app employees can:
- Book a private one-to-one, 40-minute phone or video consultation with a practitioner specialising in fertility, menopause or perinatal support;
- Chat one-to-one with accredited experts in fertility, menopause and early parenting with no appointment needed;
- Access articles, wellbeing programmes, seminars and broadcasts on topics including anxiety, infant feeding, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and management strategies such as diet and exercise.
Mike Dalby, distribution director for Axa Health, said: “Removing the barriers to accessing support for menopause, fertility challenges and early parenthood can make a huge difference to working lives, and employers can take an active part by ensuring their people are empowered and don’t struggle alone.”
Dr Mridula Pore, co-founder and co-CEO at Peppy, added: “Menopause, a person’s fertility journey and early-stage parenthood can be life-changing experiences.”
Axa Health confirmed that while there is no charge for this service for corporate employees, there is a charge to the corporate group that is arranged under a separate contract.
