Life and critical illness insurance provider Beagle Street is set to entering the intermediary space next year.

One step towards that was achieved with the launch of Beagle Street’s direct to consumer protection proposition.

The move was announced today by digital technology provider IPipeline, which was behind the migration of more than 212,000 existing customers over a 15 month period.

Beagle Street was acquired by financial mutual OneFamily in 2022, and the company’s plan is to launch the brand into the intermediary space next year.

According to IPipeline, the migration provides a significant digital upgrade of the technology behind Beagle Street’s proposition to improve the experience for customers.

Steve Ferrari, chief transformation officer of the OneFamily Group which owns Beagle Street, said: “We’re pleased to have gone live with our protection offering on SSG Digital after a tremendous joint effort with iPipeline.

“From now on, all new sales of our Beagle Street products will be made through this platform.

“We have also successfully transferred 212,000 Beagle Street Customers and their policies onto SSG.

“Alongside the talented team that we have been building, this investment in technology is the next step in the company’s exciting growth plans, with Beagle Street launching into the intermediary space next year.”

Ian Teague, UK managing director of iPipeline (pictured) said: “We’re really proud of our continued partnership with OneFamily and now with their respected, innovative Beagle Street protection brand.

“We know just how important it is for providers to have flexible technology that is able to integrate, both today and into the systems of tomorrow.”
