Andy Walton, senior consultant at Lloyd & Co. Employee Benefits, speaks to Health & Protection about how the 2023 Awards brought a long wait to an end.
Fantastic, incredible feeling
Walton who picked up the Award for Best Protection Adviser (pictured), told Health & Protection it was a “fantastic” feeling to be recognised.
“It was fantastic, after attending the awards from an insurer and broker side,” Walton explained.
“It felt incredible to finally win one of the awards after just missing out the previous years. Many of my colleagues past and present along with my industry peers were on hand to congratulate me on my award.”
Excellent service
Elaborating on why he felt he was recognised, Walton pointed to the excellent service the firm provides as well as its drive to improve employee engagement.
“We have recently been doing a push on our flexible benefits platforms with clients as this is a great way to house all their employee benefits in one place along with allowing staff to flex up on certain benefits should the company allow this,” Walton continued.
Exponential growth
And in terms of the company’s plans over 2024, Walton said he anticipates “exponential” growth.
“We will continue with year-on-year exponential growth at Lloyd & Co Employee Benefits, continuing to work with our sister business Lloyd & Co Insurance Services to help service our clients needs, not only on employee benefits, but with their general insurance needs also,” Walton added.
“The employee benefits industry has a huge opportunity for growth as the appetite from clients is to continue expanding benefits for their employees, and we are seeing more clients than ever before with no benefits looking to offer them.”
