Tim Bliss has joined Genomics as director of business development.
Bliss had spent a decade at Axa Health before leaving in November to take on a new position which has now been confirmed at Genomics.
During his time at Axa Health Bliss was head of sales for health and wellbeing for six years before moving to head of corporate sales for the last four and a half years.
Genomics operates in the rapidly expanding sector of genetic and genomic health by identifying an individual’s absolute risk of disease.
The firm said its database would allow patients, healthcare providers, insurers, employers pharmaceutical companies and researchers to make smarter decisions for longer, healthier lives.
Bliss said he was delighted to be starting the new role.
“Prevention has always been a passion for me and I am so excited to be working with the amazing team here with such a paradigm shift in healthcare,” he said on LinkedIn.
