Cleveland Clinic London has reached agreement with insurers Bupa and WPA to offer eligible plan members access to it’s medical and surgical services.
The clinic (pictured) primarily focuses on heart and vascular diseases, digestive diseases, neurosciences and orthopaedics.
Eligible plan members can now be referred to Cleveland Clinic’s Portland Place Outpatient Centre, in the Harley Street area. It’s main hospital is due to open in central London in early 2022.
The clinic said it would welcome bookings from eligible members through all major domestic and international insurers.
Commenting on the partnership with WPA, Will Rowberry, chief commercial officer at Cleveland Clinic London, said: “Putting patients at the centre of care is a common thread between our organisations.
“The goal is to develop standardised care paths through evidence-based management tools to accelerate access and drive down healthcare costs.
“Cleveland Clinic London will enable direct booking and full digital access to medical records, ensuring the smoothest possible experience for WPA customers.”
Brian Goodman, executive director of large corporate customers at WPA, added: “Our discussions with the Cleveland Clinic London have been fruitful and we welcome another high quality provider to the UK increasing competition and choice.

The agreement follows hot on the heels of a similar agreement with Bupa earlier this week for its insurance customers to access Cleveland Clinic London’s suite of medical and surgical services.
